Drama Queens classes are led by working actors, who are passionate about passing on the tools of their trade to young people.
The skills we learn as actors are incredibly beneficial to everyone. Our classes build children’s confidence and communication skills by unleashing their unique creativity.
Our Drama games and exercises help to develop concentration, voice, posture, team work, literacy, empathy and emotional understanding. Through song, movement, improvisation and scripted performance the groups learn vital skills that will set them up for life, and make life long friends in the process.
Working together to mount a performance fosters an important sense of togetherness and achievement. We take inspiration from the LAMDA examination syllabus in acting, poetry and public speaking – with optional LAMDA tests at the end of each school year.
